In fact, phenacetin itself may present two kinds of appearance. One is white crystal powder as shown in the picture below, with fine powder particles.

The other is commonly known as shiny phenacetin powder, which is a kind of white glossy flake crystal.
In short, it is flake crystal, which is similar to the appearance of procaine, but the particles are smaller than procaine. The details are shown in the picture below

Because of the difference of production process, the two kinds of powder are only different in appearance. The product quality and purity are very good. Because of the camera, the most intuitive feeling in the picture is that the gloss is not the same.
